About Destinee S. Wilson, JD, MBA
Destinee S. Wilson is a native South Carolinian. She was born and raised in North Augusta, South Carolina. After graduating from high school, Destinee went on to obtain her B.A. in Political Science from Clemson University where she graduated with honors. Upon completion of her undergraduate degree, she went on to obtain her JD/MBA from the University of South Carolina School of Law and the Darla Moore School of Business. During law school, Destinee became the first female Chief Justice of the Mock Trial Bar, was a member of the Konduros Leadership Development Program, and held several positions in the Black Law Students Association.
Destinee took the Bar in July 2021 and was subsequently admitted to the South Carolina Bar in November 2021. Upon passing the Bar, Destinee worked for one year as a Staff Attorney for the South Carolina Supreme Court. She then began working at Cordell & Cordell in the Columbia office. In practice, Destinee practices family law and handles cases dealing with divorce, custody, prenuptial agreements, declarations of paternity, etc.
Through years of her event planning entrepreneurial pursuits, Destinee brings to the team experience in providing full luxury event planning and coordination services, to include weddings, birthday parties, showers, banquets, destination weddings and corporate events.
Outside of practicing law and coordinating, Destinee serves as a board member for a nonprofit, Rainy Day Fund. She also serves as a member of the following Bar committees: the Diversity Committee, the Columbia Cinderella Project Committee, the Judicial Qualifications Committee, and the Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee. In her spare time, Destinee loves to travel, read new books, go to brunch, and go on solo movie dates with a large tub of popcorn and a Dr. Pepper.
